I agree with your 'improv lyric' observation.. with a slight difference- I've found that people usually go for 'i was walking down the street', so as to rhyme with 'meet' in the second line.
ReplyDeleteI'll always remember seeing some 'hot new singer-songwriter' on tv years ago and those were the first two lines of his song, prompting me to immediately change the channel.
